  • What is laser tattoo removal?
    Our state of the art Pastelle laser uses advanced technology to safely remove tattoos by shooting a beam of light through the skin, shattering the tattoo pigment. Once this is achieved, white bloods cells rush to the area and dispose of the fragmented pigment through the lymphatic system.
  • How many sessions will I need?
    Generally for body tattoos the number of sessions required is unique to each individuals needs. Colour, position of tattoo, thickness of ink, skin type, scarring are all determining factors of how many sessions you will need. This will be explained to you in depth in your personalised consultation in clinic.
  • How long between sessions?
    The amount of time between sessions is approximately 6-8 weeks, this is because your body needs the time to heal before your next session.
  • Who shouldn’t get laser treatment?
    We do not recommend that anyone that is pregnant or breastfeeding to get laser treatment. Anyone on a course of arracutane should wait 6 months before they have a laser treatment. People that are taking any medications that causes photosensitization.
  • How long does the procedure take?
    Our tattoo removal process is a quick and effective treatment that is done in a timely manner ranging from 5-45 minutes depending on the individuals tattoo size.
  • Does laser tattoo removal hurt?
    At Final Flash we do our most to make your tattoo removal treatment as comfortable as possible. Laser tattoo removal may cause some discomfort however this can be managed with topical numbing agents and a cooling methods. Many people who have previously had the treatment describe the sensation like an elastic band being flicked against the skin. Area of which is the tattoo is located, depth of tattoo, colour, thickness of ink and previous scarring after the tattoo treatment are all factors.
  • Can I bring anyone friends or children to my appointment?
    Unfortunately due to health and safety reasons it is advised to come to your appointment alone. Our clinic uses a high powered laser that requires the use of personal protective equipment. For your safety and for us to perform your treatment in a timely and professional manner.
  • Is there a deposit required for treatments?
    All consultations and treatments require a minimum deposit. Your consultation fee is redeemable from your initial session. A 48 hour cancellation policy applies unless there are extenuating circumstances.
